What is a Bettorwise Signal?
The measured gap between the model's probability and the market's no-vig consensus, in percentage points. Signals are graded by size — and most lines get a PASS, not a pick.
What is market probability?
The consensus price across books, converted to a probability with the bookmaker's margin removed. It's what the market collectively implies — not what will happen.
What does no-vig mean?

What is expected value?

What is closing line value?
The difference between the price you took and the closing price. Beating the close consistently is evidence of a good process, independent of short-run results. Read the full guide.
How does Bettorwise calculate grades?
Grades scale with the size of the model–market gap: A at 4.0 percentage points or more, down to a PASS below 1.2. A grade measures disagreement — it is not a promise about the outcome.
Does Bettorwise guarantee winning picks?
No. No honest model guarantees wins. Bettorwise publishes model versions and will report calibration and resolved-forecast records — accountability instead of promises.
Which sports does Bettorwise support?
